Terrible Hearts
Fueled by the spirit of the lo-fi pioneers he reveres, former Minus the Sidekick frontman Jon Biscoe embarked on a journey to document his countless melodies and musings. Under the Terrible Hearts moniker, he committed even the most basic of ideas to tape over many years and many Richmond apartments. After careful cultivation, overdubs, and occasional input from friends, many of the songs expanded to become rich explorations of sound, texture, and space. The style varies from anthemic rock, to folk, R&B, and beyond. Lyrically the themes explored are departure, unresolved emotion, and the unending pursuit of living up to expectations. With literally hundreds of songs in various states of realization, the future promises many Terrible Hearts releases.
