The Gentle Laxative Demonstration

Truman Sparks

Forever innovating, Truman Sparks give us a glimpse of things to come. The four demo tracks show the band at their most dynamic, experimental, and, surprisingly, melodic. "Esophogalapagos," the title track off the upcoming follow-up full-length, creates the strongest bridge between the old and new, while "Egglore, The Dragon Mummy" demonstrates the Sparks' increased interest in vocal harmonies. Rounding out The Gentle Laxative Demonstration is an intense, live version of "Trog" and a danceable remix of "Enters Trog," both from their debut LP.
